A Different way of living is beginning to take shape!
What started out as a Novel Series has evolved beyond the written page.
A journey into a world where everything has already begun to change.
Jessie steps into a hidden oasis and uncovers a truth that will change everything.
As the world begins to unravel, the truth she found may be humanity’s only way forward.
A deeper exploration of restoration, connection, and what comes next as the Earth begins to heal. In the final novel, natural darkness and starlight return after generations of light pollution, allowing people, wildlife, oceans, and living ecosystems to move once again in harmony with the rhythms of the night.
I am very excited to share my newest song, “Come Alive.”
This song is the embodiment of what my trilogy has always sounded like deep inside of me. It carries the heart, hope, and awakening woven throughout the entire journey.
I hope it resonates just as deeply with you.

Restoring the Night
The natural night sky has been woven through the Caprician Series from the beginning.
In Journey to Caprice, Jessie discovers that the stars can illuminate her way home even on a moonless night. In 8th Day: A New Beginning, the night becomes a place of gathering, wonder, and awakening. In 1,000 Years in the Garden, the disappearance of light pollution allows the true light of the night to return, restoring ancient connections among people, wildlife, plants, oceans, and the stars.
As an author and night-sky photographer, I believe protecting the Earth also means protecting the darkness every living being evolved beneath.
Restoring the Earth includes restoring the night.

Beneath the story is a deeper question.
What if restoration isn’t something we have to wait for…
but something that has already begun?
The Caprician Series explores a world where people reconnect with the land, with each other, and with the life around them.
And quietly… that vision is beginning to take shape beyond the page.
A glimpse of what already exists…
and what could be restored.
A portion of this work is being directed toward supporting conservation and restoration-focused efforts.
As this continues to grow, select organizations will be invited to collaborate and share in that mission.
