Awakening in a New World
Awakening in a New World
Good morning, in its broadest sense.
Today I find myself in a new place — a space none of us have been before, but we are all here together, whether we know it or not. There’s so much happening in the world and things are changing fast. A massive rejuvenation and awakening are unfolding all around us. Everywhere I look, it becomes more visible, more undeniable, more profound. It’s truly mind-blowing.
There’s no more time for flirting on the edges of knowing. Humanity is crossing lines in mass force, whether consciously or not. Most don’t realize it — or perhaps they do, but won’t admit it, even to themselves. Many are still looking to someone else, to some group or side of some fight for answers. Some, like Lot’s wife, can’t help but look back at where they came from for answers. Uncountable numbers are burying their heads in the sand, while others are busying themselves criticizing their fellow humans or finding ways to excuse themselves from awareness because they “don’t have time.”
But then there are those who have chosen to let go of distraction. They look within, around, and beyond. They are opening their minds, hearts, and souls. They see the earth reawakening, being reborn. They see humans beginning to see beyond the veil. And what they see is incredible.
It was never a veil covering the earth, or God, or our place within it all. The greatest revelation is that the veil was never outside of us — it was us. All along. We allowed the wool to be pulled over our own eyes. We chose to believe the lies — the doctrines of separation, the blindness, the chaos, the narcissism, the myth that the needs of one outweigh the good of all.
We used the earth, or stood by while others ravaged her, stole from her, and drained her resources. We watched as smoke filled her skies and called it progress. At times we stepped back in awareness, but rarely long enough or far enough to sacrifice any of our creature comforts.
When did it become okay to justify anything we wanted simply because someone told us we could? To pick and choose which lines of text to live by — while ignoring all others — and then condemn those who chose differently? When did it become okay to look outside ourselves for the meaning of right and wrong?
Wait — none of that “became” okay. People simply decided it was easier to justify their actions than to stop, be silent, look within, and do the right thing — especially when it wasn’t always the easiest thing to change.
That choice has brought us to where we are today. We can see the destruction it’s caused — it’s visible everywhere. We can let it drag us down, as the world encourages, or we can choose another path. We can wake up.
Look beyond the smoke. Seek the places where the dust is already settling. The meek are rising. Do you see them? Look closer. They’re there — in small pockets all over the earth.
Look for the renewal projects, the communities learning to live in new ways, and bringing back some of the old ways. The small families who have turned their hearts toward health, kindness, and the greater good. Those who are teaching their children to pause, to look within, to stop running the rat race and find peace, happiness, laughter, hope — to build their lives around what truly brings life.
Many are being washed away in the flood of selfishness and self-righteousness. But still, there are those who have found the true path — the one we were always meant to walk. It’s a path where every need is met, without sacrifice, woven together in a pattern so perfect it forms an oasis beyond imagination.
But only those with pure hearts can find it. And here’s the truth — we all have pure hearts. We were given them the moment we took our first breath. We simply lost sight of that path early on.
It’s not too late to find it again. Step off the treadmill. Step back into yourself. The truth is right there — waiting.
If you don’t know where to begin, go to your local forest. Find the dirt path that leads deepest into the trees. Walk it. Breathe it. Listen.
There, in the heartbeat of the earth, you will find yourself again. Once you do that, the emptiness will disappear. The truth truly will set you free and you will see God. Not in the flesh but in the spirit, the truth, the understanding, the awakening. From there, everything else in life is possible and will open up to you and you will never walk alone again.
Author’s Note:
I wrote these words as a reflection of the quiet transformation I see unfolding all around us — and within us. Every day, more people are remembering who they truly are and rediscovering their connection to the earth, to one another, and to the divine spark within. If these words stirred something in you, take a deep breath, step outside, and let the wind remind you: you are part of this awakening too.
The time for waiting is over. Each of us is being called to awaken — to step out of distraction and into truth. This isn’t a movement that requires followers or leaders, only hearts willing to open. Look within, reconnect with nature, yourself, the divine creator and live from the place of love that has been waiting patiently inside you, inside all of us, all along.
I’m walking this path of rediscovery too — one step, one breath, one awakening at a time. Writing these words is my way of remembering what matters, and of reaching out to others who feel the same stirring in their soul. If this resonates with you, know that you’re not alone. The path is wide enough for all of us but narrow in comparison to the one most people are on, and it’s waiting — just beyond the noise. Won’t you join me on this journey?
