Florida Panthers - One of the Most Endangered Mammal Species in the United States.
The light is soft, the air still, and the wild begins to move in ways most of us will never see.
Hidden within these forests are lives that depend on silence, space, and the land remaining whole.
A mother moves carefully, aware of everything. Just behind her, a young cub learns what it means to survive—where to step, when to pause, how to listen.
They are not just passing through. This is their home.
Every path they take, every crossing they make, carries risk in a world that continues to close in around them.
The Florida panther is one of the most endangered mammals in the United States. Only a few hundred remain, last official count at time of this writing, approximately 230 adults.
Protecting them means protecting the wild places they depend on—and being mindful of the ways our presence reaches further than we realize.
Slow down where wild things still walk. Respect the land they move through.
Because some lives are only seen in moments like this and many are never seen at all.
But they are here and they matter.
